2009 Time Capsule Discovery Photo Page
A time capsule was discovered in Eagle Lake by the milfoil Dive team over the summer of 2009. It was located ~10 feet deep off of the rock shoal by Forrest Lisle's and the Causeway. It was ~75 feet from shore and consisted of a water tight message staked into the bottom. It was discovered after milfoil in the area was successfully killed with mats. The time capsule appears to have been originally placed in 2002 with the intent of it being retrieved ten years later in 2012.
