Barrel Removal from the Lake Photo Page
Steve Stubbing was putting a piece of mill wire over one of the patches of milfoil by the causeway as a test, and ran across several barrels on the bottom.They were later determined to have been empty, but the DEC was notified and they came out and removed the barrels from the lake to ensure that they were not a hazard to the environment.
