Over the past 10 years the ELPOI has been actively seeking funding sources to help with plans for milfoil eradication. Many locations have been pursued with the following being sources of success.

NYS Senate Initiative 2007 Aid to Small Localities grant. In 2007 and 2000 Senator Betty Little and her predecessor Senator Stafford awarded the town of Crown Point with assistance from the ELPOI these 2 grants that could be used to fund the efforts to eradicate Eagle Lake milfoil.
